People with disabilities

We have introduced tailor-made internship opportunities for people with disabilities. This further enhances our inclusive work atmosphere, while empowering them to fulfil their potential and contribute their unique talents to Forbes Marshall’s success. Notable instances of inspiration within our team include Shakti, working in our HR department despite having a physical disability in his right leg, and Akshay, who is interning in our packaging department with a visual impairment. Moreover, we have introduced neurodiverse employees to the organisation. Not only does this empower them financially, but it also cultivates a sense of confidence.

Gender Diversity

Forbes Marshall has a world-class integrated manufacturing plant in Maharashtra, India, which champions the inclusion of more women across the organisation and breaks the stigma of the field being primarily comprised of men — a common statistic in India. We actively encourage women to explore a wide array of roles, from manufacturing and assembly to machining, welding, and beyond. For aspiring female engineers, we’ve also kickstarted ‘The FM Super20 programme’, a module specifically designed to hire more women in a traditionally male-dominated sector. The programme equips them with practical industry knowledge and internship exposure. Moreover, we are a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, deeply committed to promoting gender sensitivity and inclusivity across our organisation. We welcome all gender identities, integrating them into roles that best suit their abilities and strengths, and ultimately fostering a workplace where everyone can feel safe and do their best.

In our talent acquisition strategy, we aim to achieve a blend of talent sourced from within the territory and beyond. Alongside this, our 'Second Innings Programme' is tailored to support individuals who have taken a career hiatus of more than two years, providing them with opportunities to re-enter the workforce and contribute their valuable skills and experiences.

Wellness Diversity

To us, the well-being of our members always comes first. From physical to emotional well-being, we believe in fostering a holistic approach to health. Our dedicated team has launched several wellness programs and health initiatives that actively promote a balanced lifestyle. The ‘mom @ work’ initiative is one such example - the one-on-one coaching has been tailor-made for working mothers to navigate any challenges they may experience. We’ve also provided access to resources such as counselling services and stress management programmes.
